FerryCat™ 120 was put into traffic in 2003 in Stavanger Norway. The capacity is 393 passengers, 112 cars and operational speed on more than 20 knots. Fjellstrand Shipyard in Norway has developed the aluminium ferry, and Melk Design has been responsible for industrial design all from the beginning (1998). The man initiating this project was originally Ivar Myklebost, earlier president of Fjellstrand Shipyard. The FerryCat™ 120 is today by far the most advanced Ferry of its kind. Melk Design has been developing exterior and interior, closely in cooperation with Fjellstrand and Kjell Einar Sekse in particular.
