FerryCat™ 120 has seen the comfort of the passenger as a challenge. The beautiful Norwegian Fjord on the outside, made large windows important. The chairs have been designed by Melk Design, and produced by West Mekan. Melk Design wanted to contribute with an “installation” for the travellers. 126 different photos taken by Norwegian photographers, have been digitally woven into the fabric of the seats. The photographs are all taken in the local area, Stavanger, where the FerryCat™ 120 is in service. Some of the pictures are old, some new, and they represent the local population, culture and nature.
